Dear Celebration Family,
“Courage to Celebrate” is the theme of our fall Stewardship Appeal. In the midst of uncertain times, it takes courage to dream, hope, innovate, and give. It takes Courage to Celebrate.
Thank you for the financial support you are currently providing to help Celebration make a big difference in this small part of the world we occupy. As people of faith, we know that all we have comes from God. Through our grateful response, we can do more to bring faith and hope to a world that needs these things more than ever.
In the weeks ahead, you will be hearing more about the exciting ministry plans for 2022. Temple talks, mailers, letters, and a brochure will inform your household of the congregation’s mission plans and goals for the coming year.
Celebration is on a mission to Celebrate Christ, Care For Others, and Serve the World. Through noisy offerings, worKships, and donation drives for our ministry partners, we know we do our best ministry when we all pull together and give in radical generosity.
As part of our Stewardship program this year, you will be invited by letter to consider beginning or increasing your offering for the coming year. Please pray about this request and where God may be leading you in generosity and courage.
Then, on Courage to Celebrate Sunday, November 14, we will return our pledges and commitments (we call them “Statement of Intent”) during the worship service. You are also welcome to mail your Statement of Intent or complete it online if you will not be present on Courage to Celebrate Sunday.
Thank you for being part of this vibrant congregation. Continue to pray for our common work together as we Celebrate, Care, and Serve.
Sincerely in Christ,
Pastor Ryan Dockery
